Trapureka privacy policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026 (version 3: published by Dinasimax.com, new contact address)
Trapureka is a puzzle game by Dinasimax.com, the controller of your data. Questions or requests: privacy@dinasimax.com.
The short version
- You do not need an account. We never ask for your name, email, contacts or location.
- Your progress and settings stay on your phone.
- Usage statistics and crash reports are off until you say yes, and go only to our own servers in the EU.
- The game is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. Ads are not personalised unless you agree twice: in the game ("Personalised ads") and in Google's consent form.
- Purchases go through Google Play. We never see your payment details.
- You can change every choice at any time in Settings → Privacy.
What happens to your data
On your phone only
Game progress, settings, your privacy choices (with the date you made them), the things you bought (so they work offline) and a random install ID. Nothing here leaves your phone unless described below. "Delete my data" in Settings → Privacy wipes it.
Only if you say yes: usage statistics and crash reports
- Usage statistics (switch "Anonymous usage statistics"): which rooms you start and escape, your moves and stars,
settings you change, when you use a hint or a skip and when an ad was shown, plus app version, phone model,
Android version and language. No ID that follows you: a session code that changes every day. Sent to our own
Aptabase server in the EU (tool:
aptabase), kept 90 days. - Crash reports (switch "Crash reports"): what went wrong in the code, app version, phone model and Android
version, tagged with the random install ID so we can delete them when you ask. No name, no IP address, no
screenshots. Sent to our own GlitchTip server in the EU (tool:
sentry), kept 90 days. - Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). Saying no changes nothing in the game.
Ads (Google AdMob)
The game shows ads to stay free: a video you choose to watch for a hint or a skip, and, after you have escaped 20 rooms, at most one ad every fifth room and every 10 minutes of play between rooms (none in your first session), never during a room. Any purchase turns those between-room ads off for good.
The ads come from Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd; tool: admob), which decides for itself what it does with
the data as an independent controller. Google's SDK collects your phone's advertising ID and app set ID, your
IP address (which can reveal your approximate location), how you interact with the ads, and technical
diagnostics, to show, count and protect ads.
- Where the law requires it (EEA, UK, Switzerland), Google's consent form appears before any ad is loaded.
- Personalised ads (based on your interests) only if you turn on "Personalised ads" in the game and agree in Google's form. Otherwise every ad is non-personalised: Google still uses the data above to deliver the ad, limit how often you see it and prevent fraud, but builds no profile.
- Legal basis: your consent for personalised ads and, where asked, for storing or reading data on your phone; otherwise our legitimate interest in funding a free game with non-personalised ads.
- How long: Google's rules (https://policies.google.com/technologies/retention). How Google uses data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Purchases (Google Play)
Buying the starter pack or an outfit opens Google Play's own screen (tool: GodotGooglePlayBilling). Google
processes your payment and keeps your order history with your Google account under Google's privacy policy. The game
only learns which of its own products you own, keeps that on your phone, and sends nothing to us. Legal basis:
our contract with you (art. 6(1)(b)).
Ratings (Google Play)
After you finish a world, the game may ask Google Play to show its own "rate this game" window (tool: InappReviewPlugin), at most once a month. Whatever you write goes to Google Play with your Google account under Google's privacy policy; the game does not see it and sends nothing to us. The game only remembers on your phone when it last asked.
We do not
Sell your data, use it for anything else than above, track you across other apps ourselves, read your advertising ID in our own code, or ask for any permission that needs your approval (camera, microphone, contacts, location).
Your choices and rights
In Settings → Privacy: - turn usage statistics, crash reports and personalised ads on or off at any time; - Ad choices (Google consent): reopen Google's consent form to change or withdraw your ad choices; - Reset install ID and Delete my data (we delete the crash reports linked to your old install ID within 30 days; usage statistics carry no ID and expire after 90 days); - Restore purchases brings back what you bought.
Also: reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (Google → Ads); see or delete what Google holds on https://myadcenter.google.com and in your Google account. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data and to data portability; write to privacy@dinasimax.com (answer within one month). You can complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Trapureka is for players aged 13 and over and is not designed for children. If you think a child under 13 has sent us data, write to privacy@dinasimax.com and we will delete it.
Changes
When this policy changes we update the date above; when the change needs your consent, the game asks again.
